About

I'm Mohammad, a visual artist with a passion for photography, videography, and storytelling

Mohammad Keshvari (b. 1989, Tehran) is a visual artist whose practice centers on the interplay between observation and experience, primarily through the lens of photography and moving images.

My earliest encounters with image-making were shaped by a childhood fascination with the mechanics and magic of cameras, inherited from my father's electronic store. This early exposure ignited a lifelong exploration of visual storytelling, beginning with my first digital camera in 2010 and evolving into a professional practice by 2012.

My work navigates diverse terrains – from the ephemeral energy of underground gatherings in Tehran to the meticulously constructed narratives of short films. I am drawn to the human element, whether capturing spontaneous moments of joy or translating directorial visions into still images. My process is rooted in a deep engagement with the world, fueled by a restless curiosity and a desire to distill lived experience into compelling visual forms.

I view the camera as an extension of my perception, a tool for both documenting and interpreting the world around me. My portfolio is an ongoing chronicle of this exploration, reflecting a commitment to capturing the essence of moments, spaces, and human connection.
